You know I sit here feeling very greatfull I sit here feeling indebted I sit here thinking of all those lives that are servicing and protecting our way of life Yes, I sit here in comfort surrounded with people who love me and care about the quality of my life I sit here feeling blessed that I was fortunate to be born and raised in a country that allowed me the opportunity to learn and grow, to reach as far as I chose, to settle and travel anywhere with little restrictions, to experience the best of its research, and to be a part of its metimorphesis. And all it ask of me is too be an productive, law abiding, community oriented, educated consumer and conservative money manager. You know it was Thomas Jefferson who said: A government big enough to give you everything you want, is a government big enough to take it away. THINK about all the give aways and how much you are going have if you allow socialized programs instead of work programs. VOTE NOV. 4th. Hear Ye! Hear Ye!For all those willing to have an open mind and not be soda popped by ads.
If elected, Mr. Obama may well turn out to be a competent president, even an admirable one. But history gives us no indication that his political success will translate into black upward mobility. And given Mr. Obama's liberal leanings, there's every reason to believe that current obstacles to black progress will remain in place.
The candidate favors minimum-wage laws, for example, on the assumption that they help lift people out of poverty. But most poor people already earn more than the minimum wage. And most people who earn the minimum wage aren't poor. Minimum-wage laws are more likely to price people out of the labor market, especially younger and less educated workers, a large number of whom happen to be black. Today's economy places a premium on skills. If young people can't get an entry-level job because an artificial federal wage floor has made them too expensive to hire, they can't gain the skills and experience to move up the economic ladder.
To take another example: Mr. Obama opposes educational choice, which will also have a negative impact on poor blacks, who tend to be the ones stuck in America's worst public schools. Mr. Obama opposes school vouchers that would allow low-income black parents to send their children to the type of private school where he sends his own daughters.
In both cases, the only "change" that Mr. Obama would be bringing the Oval Office is the color of the person perpetrating bad policies.

It is quite insulting to be considered a sheep. You know, the ones that can be swayed in any and every direction because for that very moment it sounds good and we may have to listen to apply some thought to the jibberish we are being handed.
Taxes! Profits ! Spending ! Let me see if I understand this right. We are going to raise taxes on any and everyone who makes 250,000.00 dollars and not on the ones who make less. Okay do we know what persentage of people fall under that number. I believe it is 85%. ( if not more) make a lot less. Now it would mean something if the percentages were reversed. Then maybe the tax imposed would make a dent in our deficits.
Now let us rationalize the higher taxes on corporations and yes closing the loop hole laws. First of all. it is the taxes placed on these big businesses that have forced them to search out places to go so their profits don't drop below the expected 12% that ,(OH yes) the stock holders like to see.
And not only are the stock holders employees, but so is the general public.
Some people complain that drug and oil companies make hundreds of millions of dollars. Well the truth is that they make their 12 %. Yes there 12% may be in the hundreds of millions but it still is 12% profit. So I guess they are investing very large sums in property, research, testing, wages, benefits, taxes, utilities, etc. and still in the end come up with the average 12% percent. If workers have problems with conditions, wages, ceo's stock options, then organize and fight for change within the company. Take resposability for your own circumstances. Spread the wealth with in the company itself.
Oh another thing, it is up to you to be an educated consumer and as you would expect the company you invested in to manage their finances well enough for you to make at least a 12% profit, you should be holding yourself accountable for maintaining your own finances.TEAR UP THE CREDIT CARDS!!!! BUDGET! BUDGET! SAVE! SAVE!!!
False security, like Clinton balancing budgets, by taking money from Peter to pay Paul ( from the military, social security,etc.)only help feed the greed. Read, and take the time to research and understand the affects of your actions before you act.(or VOTE) Listen carefully to not only what people say, but what they fail to tell you.
Like recently with Colon Powell's support for Obama. Did you listen to his reasons. Well he didn't really tell you any. He said how well he respected McCain but still though Obama would make a good president. He is ready. Based on what???? He has style. Okay I give him that. PLEASE, It smells. It reeks so bad of racial favorticism. He mentions "first black president" . Now tell me why is it necessay to mention his color.

Now it's Colin Powell who supports Obama for president claiming that Sarah Palin is not ready to be president if need be. I am not sure why he would assume that Mc Cain is going to die while in office. Why isn't he comparing her to Obama who is the least prepared and least experienced of all four candidates.
Watching Face the Nation this morning was again somewhat disappointing with its very carefully laid out program in giving Obama the EDGE. Have Pagne be the last to speak with his support for Obama and devaluing Palin's experience. Even the simple plug for SNL Saturday Night Live show was enought to say to myself, if this much plotting has to be done to encourage people to vote their choice, then there must be a lot that we are not being told.

Using Fame
I am not sure that I can agree with the practice of allowing people who have access to the media to promote their personal views during a presidential campaign. Now you may think that I am being overly restrictive of one group of people while others are free to discuss issues (if they choose) in dinners, bars, colleges(among students and not by professors in the classroom) etc.. But when your engaged in an outright directed goal to influence the general public because your profession allows you the advantage of a large audience, is in my opinion abusing fame which you earned because of a talent and not because they have some greater insight to who will better serve.
Sarah Silverman (The Great Shlept, trying to influence older Jews living in Florida to vote for her choice of candidates) and the recent scripts displayed on SNL(Saturday Night Live) is either directed or evidently slanted toward their particualr choices.
There seems to be a great deal of money supporting one candidate over the other( much which have been half truths if true at all bits of info) flooding the viewers no matter what channel you turn to with ads, which in itself, that can mislead the listener into believing that most of TV world must be supporting that particular candidate.
How does one combat this form of brainwashing? Easy, take the time to research, not only the candidates running, but 25 years of history regarding issues, programs, voting records of congress and senate, distbursement of our funds, infringement of liberties for personal gains, etc. The bottom line is BE AN EDUCATED VOTER. Do not rely on tibits of information no matter who you hear it from. It is like if we were educated, selective, controlled consumers we probably wouldn't be in this financial fix.

Riding the Seine
We were boating down the Seine River in Paris and as you can see it was at night and OH, what a night!!

It was a Saturday and everyone was out. The river was lined with strollers holding hands, couples dancing, little cafe tables set up near portable bars. flatboats that were resturants and bars floating by music blasting with some of the patrons sitting inside at tables and others on deck enjoying the passing breeze. Young people were dancing and some just sitting on the cement walks that line the river waving as we passed. Yes, it was a joyous evening and one never to forget.

Amazing Fall Adventure
Went up to Lake George this Columbus Day weekend and as usual had a really nice time. Visited my girlfriend and her husband from grade school years and we took a ride up to Lake Placid to see the Log Cabin builders display. The weather was perfect and the town was comfortably populated. We also went up to the top of Whiteface Mt. which on this perfectly clear day gave us a vivid view of the lower lying expanse. The Earth is God's canvas and no one can do it better.
Back at Bolton Landings we ran a table for the Fine Arts Group who raises monies to grant scholarships. Vivian is an artist and has a site on the web. We hsd sctivites for the children who csme snd I must say along with the face painter, we were able to give some parents some relief time while we occupied and introduced drawing, coloring with different mediums, and creating design using crafts. Some of which you can see from the first image.
On Monday evening I had the opportunity to attend a book club session which Vivian is a member and I must say I may do just that here in my town. It was fun and also encouraging to witness how many interesting, alert, and articulate woman exist. We have been a definiate unappreciated valuable resource. But society is beginning to realize that as we witness in the many public positions position help by women today.

Everyday offers a new experience.
Well I don't know what happen, but today I spent some time with my neighbor and her three children. After droping off the middle son, age 2 1/2 the 4 year old and the 3 month old went off to a few stores to shop for Halloween. After a 2 hour spree, we picked up the little guy and returned home. I went to check on the dog and bought her some homemade soup for a late lunch. I stayed a while and visited with her sister in law and her two boys, one just a month old. I couldn't get over how easy and relaxed I felt about holding the infants. Being relaxed and confidence returning, all seem to go smoothly. My chidren are now single adults so you see it had been a long time and there are so many more gadgets on the market.
It amazes me the number of items that are out there on the market attemping to meet every and all needs of a new mother. For example. if you are not willing or able to hold the bottle that feeds you baby, you can buy a bottle that has a straw like part that attaches itself to the bottle and the tube has a nipple attached to its end. So you can have the bottle standing on a side table while feeding the baby. But I must say there are so many choices in car seats, walkers, swings, strollers, pacifiers, rattles, diapers, formulas, sippy cups, toys( all attempting to be classified as educational), and books that all claim the right way to raise children. Well I must say, that all these parents have a many options. Let's just hope that they are well informed and use common sense in the making of their choices.

Wake Up! Smell the Politics
It is unfortunate that everything doesn't come easy. Would I have liked to have ACORN(the inner city big daddy) handing me out money when I wanted to buy a house. No, I was caught in the Jimmy Carter years when interest rates were hitting 17%. So I went FHA and felt gratefull that I was able to get a 13% rate until I could remorgage it to 8%. Both my husband and I had to work and that is exactly what we did. Carefully watching our monies manging so we could now be retired, morgage paid, 2 children sent to college and now they manage their monies so as not to be a credit failing statistic. NO! You can't have everything you want and you may not get the things you like when you want them. It's called being realistic and pragmatic. The people of this country who we consider poor still have more than most of the population of India, Africa, and China. They have more access to free education, housing, food and healthcare. It may take some effort(other then soup kitchens or public shelters) to get, but it is available. I worked in the inner city and witness first hand the amount of free programs offered. Through revenue sharing, the passage of assistance bills, and coorporate donations,supply was not limited. But much of it may have been wasted. Programs from Stevens Institute and Seaton Hall University discontinued their involvement earlier than intended because of lack of interest/and or cooperation. With Stevens offering free computer education and hands on activity with a 3 week FREE summer program at Steven itself (What an opportunity.)to students involved in the program finding itself having to end a 5 year grant early because of non attendance and lack of committment on the part of students. Trust me, I knew 2 of the educators involved who did everything to encourage their students. Some of the educators who were part of the initial program even attended the summer classes. But from 20 or so students,only about 3 remained throughout the the summer. People have to be more aware of whats available and what it takes to achieve financial security. Here was an open door to a world of computor awareness and application only to be trashed.
I like to have things come easy(wish this program was offered at my kids schools)but I accept the fact that if I was going to beat inflation, it was going to take a great deal of personal effort, education, sacrafice and time. So if someone wanted to offer me a pie in the sky idea that I could get lots of credit even though I could have bad credit, I would be very suspicious. The banks are not SANTA CLAUS!!! It's true that the only reason this failed for the banks was because the housing markets bottom fell out all at once. Otherwise, they would have slowly been forclosing on these properties and reselling them. (possibly over and over again)They played on the desperation and ignorance of the public. GREED! GREED! It will get you everytime. And we still have a stock market the remained over 10,000. Remember when it was in the 8,000 range. We cry with a loaf of bread under our arm.And if you really want change, then you yourself have to get educated to what causes problems and how to avoid/prevent them. When something doesn't work, be willing to make changes first in your own house.

Escaping
I think all of us as we go through life whether we are alone, with someone or raising a family need to find time to satisfy are own fantacies. For most of us it is done by daydreaming, reading, watching TV/movies, or getting absorbed into a really good book. Did you ever observe people watching a televised game? It's bad enough that they yell out. Some really get involved. I mean did you ever listen to reactions when a really important game is occuring. These people actually know everything about these players, even keep up with their personal life. While observing a game I hear statements like, "What are you doing, Didn't I tell you to follow through". I am amazed and that is a polite reaction. Believe me. But it doesn't seem to end there. They will discuss and/or argue that game until the next one is aired. An escape mechanism that really seems to work for many people. For at least those few hours the viewer is engrossed in observing a physical activity and reacting to it almost immediately thereby nothing else is as important at that time. And it doesn't really matter whether they have company or not. The viewed activity in itself is taking the viewer to another place.

HELP
Oh My Goodness!!! You can not believe how distant I am from taking care of infants. When I had my children all seem to fall into place. I mean we did make mistakes, but I guess they weren't too serious since they survived. Yes, and they are NORMAL. Even if I may have drop one. LOL
Well, today I was out with my young neighbor who handles three all under the age of 5. One is 2 months old. We went to a farm where the mom and two older children were to have a hayride and pumpkin pick. So naturally I remained with the infant. So I thought this was going to be easy.... It was for a while until he woke up crying and HUNGRY. Now have you ever had to deal with a HUNGRY baby. They don't stop until that bottle is in their mouth. So I confidently reach down into the stroller to fetch the liquid lifeline only to find that it is in powder form and I have to mix it with some bottle water. Imaging, I am in the middle of a farmers market in the enclosed store section and between aisles I am attemptin to measure out and mix this formula. It's been 24 years since I had to do this. It really is not something that comes easy because you had babies. Finally succeeded into feeding junior when Mom and the two little tykes returned pumpkins and spider rings in hand. Just another day in the neighborhood.
Suggestion At Least have the formula mixed, Thank you very much!!!

Home Again
Well it is back to reality. Home from a very busy, exciting, informing vacation to Paris, Lourdes, Venice, Tuscany, Genoa, San Remo, and Milan I must prepare the house for the coming winter. Closing up the pool and storing yard furniture will be the most laborious. The weather here is sunny but cool. the nights go to about 56. I love this time of the year although I must admit there isn't any season I do not enjoy. So you see, I am appreciating living in a state that gets all 4 seasons. Now that my husband and I are both retired, we can escape if we wish a change, even if it is only for a short time.
I really am so grateful that we have are health. I feel quite blessed. It was nice to seee our neighbors and their children. I have one neighbor that just had a baby making it now three children. So I try to help out when ever I can while not intruding. But they are young and she is so appreciative that I am comfortable stepping in. It helps keep me young and realize that nature knows best. Raising children is definately for the young. It takes so much energy and planning. When yhou are going through the process yourself you don't realize the amount of work and skill it takes, you just do it. Naturally, family, friends, pediatricians, and common sense all play an important part.
Now we definately have to get ourselves into our own work mode to prepare for the coming winter. I have a short window to work in because I will be spending Columbus 4 day weekend back at Lake George to visit very close friends and help out with the towns fair. Then we are off to my sisters for Halloween and to see her children perfrom in The Wizzard of Oz. We will be home for Thanksgiving and then we have to prepare for December holidays since they are spent at our home.

A Dream Come True
Eiffel Tower, Paris
Well I finally did it. I went to Europe. Paris, Lourdes, Genoa, Lake Garda, Lake Como, Padua, Tuscany, San Remo, Monteticini, and Milan. It was a 13 day trip that really encompassed the flavors of old meets new. Much of what I had studied throughout school years had come to life. I walk the streets of the past where Romans, Goals, Celtics and Saxsons had once ventured. I saw what artist, poets, writers, scientist, soldiers, statesmen and labors created from mountains, valleys, and lakes. Hills and valleys overflowing with vineyards and stucco homes, towns filled with narrow cobblestone streets, cloths hanging from balconies, and scooters, lots of scooters. You could smell fresh bread baking in the early morning hours. The river Seine in Paris was lively and people were strolling, dancing, and crusing the river happy to wave as we passed them by. I found life and I am looking forward to living more of it. Tuscany

It is amazing that no matter what differences family members have, none of it seems important with the arrival of a new member. Especially when that new member was a baby girl. They don't have to to anything but lay there comfortably in their craddle and every so often make little sounds or move ever so lightly and a smile is instantly plastered for the entire evening on everyones face. MELISSA'S BABY SHOWER 2008
This is my niece Melissa. As you can see the baby shower is for her. We do not know what sex the baby will be so all gifts were general items. The restuarant was in north Jersey in a park like setting with a lake and outside dining. Decor was more on the rustic style and appropriately so.
This is the opening and recording of the gifts. Left is Melissa's cousin, my daughter the recorder, and standing is Melissa's sister and maid of honor.
Now the mother and future grandmother is on the left with her two daughters. We all are awaiting the arrival of the baby. Well, this will make me a great aunt for the second time.

MOTHER'S DAY
A THE DAY THAT IS SET ASIDE TO SHOW RECOGNITION AND GIVE US THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLY OUR APPRECIATION FOR THAT PERSON WHO HAS MADE EVERY ATTEMPT TO CARE , PROTECT, AND GUIDE US INTO ADULTHOOD.
And for all of us who fit this discription, we deserve public recognition. It's business, it's pleasure, it's pain, but most of all, it's personnal. When you combine these ingredients, especially when the personnel outways the business, the stress levels rise. There are so many emotions that affect our choices that sometimes if we don't take a step back, listen, and trust our instincts, even with all our good intentions, we make mistakes. You guessed it, Motherhood is not an exact science. But what it definately is, is FOREVER. From their first breath to their first step. From their first word to their first recited poem. From our anxiety attack on their first day of school to helping them prepare for their road trip to college. It never ends. All we can do is hope that our children become warm, personable, healthy adults and one day will be us.
( Hopefully a little better)

The home of the first Kentucky Derby
I was fortunate to be able to witness the 134th Kentucky Derby this year. The weather was perfect but we deserved that since the OAKS, the day before, did nothing but rain.
This is just a part of the fairgrounds and as you can see they are the turf and the grass. Unfortunately both races cost the life of a horse. Both had to be euthenized. I know it was Four Bells from the Derby race and this 3 yr. old filly came in 2nd. So she went out a winner.
Hi!
That's me 3rd from left with my winning hat. WHO THOUGHT!!!! First time I ever worked with a glue gun. Burn the tips of my finger tips more than once. But I must say that it felt quite good for the effort to be so appreciated.
Here is a side view of the hat. Hope you like it. One young southern girl asked me as she complimented the hat as to what generation the hat was. Even though my grandparents were there in the 30's, this was a first hat for me. I guess it is a practice to preserve their hats and hand them down.
There is something to say about tradition.

I must tell you that when anyone mention the term SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY they men exactly what it implies. People who may have pass in front of your passage way or slightly brushed by your shoulder in passing apologiezed. No matter their age. And I must have been called mam 100 times. How pleasant....

Holidays
As I was alone in my kitchen brewing the mornings first cup of java, I heard the scuffle of six feet for the first time in days coming downstairs all at the same time. Ya Think they woke eachother up, JUST MAYBE!!!!
They made a beline toward the kitchen and spotted the colorful baskets full of colorful goodies that they claimed weeks ago was the birth right to receive every Easter.
I must admit there was hugs, smiles, and giggles as they equally divided up the goodies. Since the Easter Bunny had bought in bulk this year, HMMM! But it was a lesson taught and well learned because I must admit that there was not one problem in the dispersement of their find.
This was indeed a happy moment.
Naturally what would the holiday be without an EGG Hunt. I learned the hard way that only if you are going to have the hunt outdoors, do you use real eggs, otherwise if the weather is fair, you use plastic eggs filled with goodies. As you can see they were able to enjoy the outdoors and had a great time scurrying around.
After that work out it was definately time to eat and enjoy after dinner sweets. ( In moderation, of course)
Simple things make life soooo worth it.

Home Again
Well it is back to reality. Home from a very busy, exciting, informing vacation to Paris, Lourdes, Venice, Tuscany, Genoa, San Remo, and Milan I must prepare the house for the coming winter. Closing up the pool and storing yard furniture will be the most laborious. The weather here is sunny but cool. the nights go to about 56. I love this time of the year although I must admit there isn't any season I do not enjoy. So you see, I am appreciating living in a state that gets all 4 seasons. Now that my husband and I are both retired, we can escape if we wish a change, even if it is only for a short time.
I really am so grateful that we have are health. I feel quite blessed. It was nice to seee our neighbors and their children. I have one neighbor that just had a baby making it now three children. So I try to help out when ever I can while not intruding. But they are young and she is so appreciative that I am comfortable stepping in. It helps keep me young and realize that nature knows best. Raising children is definately for the young. It takes so much energy and planning. When yhou are going through the process yourself you don't realize the amount of work and skill it takes, you just do it. Naturally, family, friends, pediatricians, and common sense all play an important part.
Now we definately have to get ourselves into our own work mode to prepare for the coming winter. I have a short window to work in because I will be spending Columbus 4 day weekend back at Lake George to visit very close friends and help out with the towns fair. Then we are off to my sisters for Halloween and to see her children perfrom in The Wizzard of Oz. We will be home for Thanksgiving and then we have to prepare for December holidays since they are spent at our home.

A Dream Come True
Eiffel Tower, Paris
Well I finally did it. I went to Europe. Paris, Lourdes, Genoa, Lake Garda, Lake Como, Padua, Tuscany, San Remo, Monteticini, and Milan. It was a 13 day trip that really encompassed the flavors of old meets new. Much of what I had studied throughout school years had come to life. I walk the streets of the past where Romans, Goals, Celtics and Saxsons had once ventured. I saw what artist, poets, writers, scientist, soldiers, statesmen and labors created from mountains, valleys, and lakes. Hills and valleys overflowing with vineyards and stucco homes, towns filled with narrow cobblestone streets, cloths hanging from balconies, and scooters, lots of scooters. You could smell fresh bread baking in the early morning hours. The river Seine in Paris was lively and people were strolling, dancing, and crusing the river happy to wave as we passed them by. I found life and I am looking forward to living more of it. Tuscany

Next is off to the Almalfi coast. -Sorrento, Capri, Rome etc. Then I think Austria and Germany. If you have any suggestion, please let me know.
( I have traveled in the USA. Mexico and Canada. Want to do more of that as well. You really didn't think I would not, did you!!!)

It is amazing that no matter what differences family members have, none of it seems important with the arrival of a new member. Especially when that new member was a baby girl. They don't have to to anything but lay there comfortably in their craddle and every so often make little sounds or move ever so lightly and a smile is instantly plastered for the entire evening on everyones face. Mood changes and converstion are directed to all that concerns that new little ones life and all her comforts. Written by Mar

MELISSA'S BABY SHOWER 2008
This is my niece Melissa. As you can see the baby shower is for her. We do not know what sex the baby will be so all gifts were general items. The restuarant was in north Jersey in a park like setting with a lake and outside dining. Decor was more on the rustic style and appropriately so.
This is the opening and recording of the gifts. Left is Melissa's cousin, my daughter the recorder, and standing is Melissa's sister and maid of honor.
Now the mother and future grandmother is on the left with her two daughters. We all are awaiting the arrival of the baby. Well, this will make me a great aunt for the second time.

MOTHER'S DAY
A THE DAY THAT IS SET ASIDE TO SHOW RECOGNITION AND GIVE US THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLY OUR APPRECIATION FOR THAT PERSON WHO HAS MADE EVERY ATTEMPT TO CARE , PROTECT, AND GUIDE US INTO ADULTHOOD.
And for all of us who fit this discription, we deserve public recognition. It's business, it's pleasure, it's pain, but most of all, it's personnal. When you combine these ingredients, especially when the personnel outways the business, the stress levels rise. There are so many emotions that affect our choices that sometimes if we don't take a step back, listen, and trust our instincts, even with all our good intentions, we make mistakes. You guessed it, Motherhood is not an exact science. But what it definately is, is FOREVER. From their first breath to their first step. From their first word to their first recited poem. From our anxiety attack on their first day of school to helping them prepare for their road trip to college. It never ends. All we can do is hope that our children become warm, personable, healthy adults and one day will be us.
( Hopefully a little better)

I was fortunate to be able to witness the 134th Kentucky Derby this year. The weather was perfect but we deserved that since the OAKS, the day before, did nothing but rain.
This is just a part of the fairgrounds and as you can see they are the turf and the grass. Unfortunately both races cost the life of a horse. Both had to be euthenized. I know it was Four Bells from the Derby race and this 3 yr. old filly came in 2nd. So she went out a winner.

That's me 3rd from left with my winning hat. WHO THOUGHT!!!! First time I ever worked with a glue gun. Burn the tips of my finger tips more than once. But I must say that it felt quite good for the effort to be so appreciated.
Here is a side view of the hat. Hope you like it. One young southern girl asked me as she complimented the hat as to what generation the hat was. Even though my grandparents were there in the 30's, this was a first hat for me. I guess it is a practice to preserve their hats and hand them down.
There is something to say about tradition.

This is just a tiny section of the track. I MEAN TINY. There were 157,000 people there that day.
I must tell you that when anyone mention the term SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY they men exactly what it implies. People who may have pass in front of your passage way or slightly brushed by your shoulder in passing apologiezed. No matter their age. And I must have been called mam 100 times. How pleasant....

Holidays
As I was alone in my kitchen brewing the mornings first cup of java, I heard the scuffle of six feet for the first time in days coming downstairs all at the same time. Ya Think they woke eachother up, JUST MAYBE!!!!
They made a beline toward the kitchen and spotted the colorful baskets full of colorful goodies that they claimed weeks ago was the birth right to receive every Easter.
I must admit there was hugs, smiles, and giggles as they equally divided up the goodies. Since the Easter Bunny had bought in bulk this year, HMMM! But it was a lesson taught and well learned because I must admit that there was not one problem in the dispersement of their find.
This was indeed a happy moment.
Naturally what would the holiday be without an EGG Hunt. I learned the hard way that only if you are going to have the hunt outdoors, do you use real eggs, otherwise if the weather is fair, you use plastic eggs filled with goodies. As you can see they were able to enjoy the outdoors and had a great time scurrying around.
After that work out it was definately time to eat and enjoy after dinner sweets. ( In moderation, of course)
Simple things make life soooo worth it.
